Mazidar Chicken Stew

"Mazidar Chicken Stew"

Ingredients:

  • Oil (half cup)
  • Chicken (3/4 kg)
  • Onions cut in slices (3 in medium size)
  • Tomatoes cut in slices (3 in medium size)
  • Yogurt (1/4 kg or a bowl)
  • Ginger / garlic paste (1 full table spoon)
  • Salt (1 tea spoon)
  • Red chili powder (1 tea spoon)
  • Turmeric powder (half to half tea spoon)
  • Coriander powder (1 full tea spoon)
  • Black cardamom (1 to 2)
  • Green cardamom (6 to 8)
  • Black pepper (10 to 12)
  • Cloves / long (4 to 5)
  • Crushed coriander(1 tea spoon)
  • Cumin seeds (1 tea spoon)
  • Chopped garlic (1 tea spoon)
  • Ginger cut in julienne shape (small piece of 2 inches)
  • Green chilies  (6 to 8)

Method:

  1. First take oil in your pan on medium to low flame and add half onions stir it well for a while or till its completely in soft texture.
  2. Now add the ginger / garlic paste & all spices salt, red chili powder,turmeric powder,Coriander powder, Black cardamom,Green cardamom, Black pepper,Cloves / long,Crushed coriander,Cumin seeds with a tiny amount of water.
  3. Mixed it well till the oil comes on surface than add your chicken again mix it well till the all access water dried.
  4. After that add your tomatoes mix it well & cover your pan for more 5 minutes.than add your more onions and chopped garlic mix well & covered your pan again for 5 minutes
  5. Now add the yogurt stir well and cover your pan for 2 to 3 minutes and than add your ginger slice & green chilies
  6. Mixed well till the oil comes on surface, now add half cup of water & simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.
  7. Mazidar Chicken Stew is ready to dish out or serve.
  8. Serve your Mazidar Chicken Stew with naan or chappati (according to your taste)
