Potato with mince (Allo Qeema)

"Allo Qeema"

Ingredients:

  • Oil (half mug)
  • Mince (half kg)
  • Potatoes (4 to 5 medium in size)
  • Onion cut in sliced (2 medium size)
  • Yogurt (1/4 kg / 1 bowl)
  • Ginger / garlic paste (1 full table spoon)
  • Salt (1 tea spoon)
  • Red chili powder (1 tea spoon)
  • Turmeric powder (half to half tea spoon)
  • Black cardamom (1 to 2)
  • Black pepper (10 to 12)
  • Cloves / long (4 to 5)
  • Tomatoes cut in slices (3 in medium size)
  • Ginger cut in julienne shape (small piece of 2 inches)
  •  Green bullet chilies cut in slices (4 to 5)
  • Fresh coriander chopped (half to half bunch)

Method:

  1. First take oil in your pan on medium to low flame and add the onions stir it well for a while or till its completely in soft texture.
  2. Now add the ginger / garlic paste & all spices salt, red chili powder,turmeric powder, Black cardamom, Black pepper,Cloves / long with a tiny amount of water.
  3. Mixed it well till the oil comes on surface than add your mince again mix it well till the all access water dried.
  4. Here you add your potatoes with a half cup of water & covered your pan for 5 to 6 minutes
  5. After that add your tomatoes mix it well & cover your pan for more 5 minutes.
  6. After 5 minutes add your yogurt and stir well and covered your pan for more 5 minutes on medium to low flame.
  7. Now add your ginger slices and green bullet chilies and stir it leave for few minutes till the oil comes on surface
  8. Add a half glass of water and your fresh coriander.
  9. Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
  10. Allo Qeema is now ready to dish out or for serve.
  11. Serve Allo Qeema  with naan / chapati (according to your taste)
